Good suggestion, you are trying to force out the lighter than brake fluid air over the loop of the brake line over the handle bars and down to the caliper. The system will just run the fluid under the air bubble. Current practice is to use the mityvac or = to force clean brake fluid up from the caliper bleeder fitting to the MC, carrying the bubble out with it rather than trying to force it all the way down the brake line. Even in vehicle repairs we are using that system now as many with ABS are very dofficult to bleed and the pressure from the caliper or wheel cylinder is the hot solution.
